Grass and Terrain Tubes
I've found that oval samples taken from photographs make nice Picture Tubes. Many of my grass and terrain Tubes are of this type. The sample images below may show the actual Tube image(s) or a graphic created with the featured Tube as one element of the graphic.

This grass tube I created is one of my favorites. At small sizes it works well a lawn style grass and at larger sizes it works well as tall grass or plant stems. Use Hue and Saturation to lighten it if you prefer.

Oval Tube image. Resembles golf course green.

Oval Tube image. Creates bright green, slightly uneven terrain.

Oval Tube image. Creates combination grass and sand hilly terrain.

Oval Tube image. Grayish beach sand with footprints. Use Tube size to create distance.

Oval Tube image. Tan colored beach sand with footprints. Use Tube size to create distance.
